Here's What It Takes (Requirements): Recent Stand-Up Forklift experience required Experience operating Yale equipment preferred Ability to pass an on-site forklift assessment before starting Comfortable lifting, stacking, and handling beverage products throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly Able to stand, walk, bend, and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic Flexible and willing to perform warehouse duties in addition to forklift operation Commitment to workplace safety and accuracy in daily tasks What You'll Do (Job Duties): Operate a Yale Stand Up Forklift safely and efficiently Case pick and move product throughout the warehouse Build, stack, and organize pallets of beverage products Load, unload, and transport materials within the facility Assist with general warehouse duties as needed Support operations in other areas using different forklifts when required Maintain productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced environment Follow all safety procedures and warehouse policies Work both on and off the forklift based on operational needs Assist with pallet building, product stacking, and other warehouse support tasks Potentially operate a Double-Wide Sit-Down Forklift as the role evolves Real Perks (Benefits): Weekly pay - on time, every time. Job Description Job Description Position Summary Staffmark is hiring Transportation Clerks for a leading logistics operation in Lancaster, TX. This role is ideal for candidates with customer service, transportation, logistics, dispatch, or warehouse office experience. The Transportation Clerk will serve as a key point of contact for drivers, vendors, visitors, and customers while supporting daily transportation operations. Professionalism is essential, as this position interacts directly with drivers, contractors, customers, and site visitors. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Check in and assist drivers arriving at the facility Verify driver and shipment information for accuracy Dispatch drivers and release loads through the Transportation Management System Direct drivers to appropriate delivery and receiving locations Monitor transportation activities and communicate updates as needed Troubleshoot system and operational issues to ensure smooth workflow Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and customers regarding transportation activities Maintain accurate records and documentation Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous customer service, transportation, logistics, dispatch, or clerical experience preferred Strong computer skills and ability to learn transportation management systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and professional presentation Preferred Experience Transportation, logistics, dispatch, shipping, receiving, or warehouse office experience Experience working with drivers, carriers, vendors, or transportation systems Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus Company Description We dare to dream.
