Several multidisciplinary clinics are currently offered. Ochsner has a dedicated Pediatric ER, a 46-bed pediatric unit, along with a 14 bed PICU, 12 bed CVICU, and 54 Level IV NICU. Our anesthesia department supports a 4-year residency with over 30 anesthesia residents. We also have rotating medical students from the University of Queensland as well as visiting students. Research and other academic pursuits are encouraged although not required.
