Clinical work includes precepting residents in their continuity clinics and seeing patients independently in a group faculty practice with shared on-call responsibilities. For Med-Peds trained physicians there are opportunities to develop a Pediatric practice and work with Med-Peds residents. The position also facilitates professional growth as a clinician-educator for those interested in careers in Academic Primary Care and medical education. Teaching activities include Ambulatory Care curriculum development, supervision of Resident patient panel management and QI and educational research in Primary Care.
