Assistant Branch Manager FULL-TIME $27/hr This is a salaried role starting at $55,000/year plus bonuses. The Assistant Branch Manager reports directly to the Branch Manager and has the overall responsibility for ensuring operations in the warehouse is being maintained in accordance with company policy and guidelines. In addition, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for the entire operations of the warehouse in the absence of the Branch Manager. Depending on the size and volume of the warehouse, a warehouse may utilize one or two Assistants. The duties of the Assistant include overseeing major departments in the warehouse; front end, receiving, perishables area, dry goods floor, equipment and small-wares, reception, inventory control & cash room. In addition, Branch Assistants may also oversee administrative functions, merchandising, safety issues, HACCP, in-store audits, physical inventory preparation, as well as participating in external store audits for the company. The Assistant Branch Manager provides leadership and guidance to all store employees and department Managers and ensures he/she is communicating all pertinent issues to the Branch Manager. The Assistant Manager should also provide continuous feedback to employees to ensure optimum productivity and that customer service/satisfaction is always at its peak. Porter FULL-TIME $16/hr Ensures all key areas of the warehouse are clean and safe for customers and employees. Cleaning restrooms, sweeping and scrubbing floors, and emptying trash will be a few of the daily tasks. May be called upon at times to work in cold cooler areas of the warehouse. Freezer Stocker FULL-TIME $14.25/hr Responsible for providing prompt and courteous customer service, stocking products on shelves, and maintaining aisles clean. Essential Functions: - Provides prompt, courteous and friendly customer service. - Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves - Rotates merchandise in order to make sure the product does not expire on shelves. - Organizes and front faces items on shelves - Perform the proper inspections to meet HACCP regulations - Assists in the review inventory for product rotation on a daily basis to prevent shrinkage and damages. - Ensures that shelf pricing is correct and reflects the most recent pricing and market conditions. - Follows program to maintain the cleanliness of the area by a regular maintenance schedule of scrubbing, and pulling out pallets and cleaning underneath. - Continuously reviews status of floor for safety hazards. Promptly and safely handles any spills and removes any trash such as plastic wrap, plastic ties, pieces of wood or any other trash gets immediately removed from the floor and discarded appropriately. - Promptly informs supervisors of any low stock/out of stock merchandise. Assistant Receiving Manager FULL-TIME $12/hr Responsible for monitoring all activities in the receiving area pertaining to all incoming/outgoing merchandise and the Receiving CRT. Must also take precautions and be aware of any potential theft indicators. Provides leadership and guidance to all power equipment operators that are involved with loading and unloading of products into trailers. Essential Functions: • Ensure accuracy of item description and counts for all incoming and outgoing shipments. • Ensure accuracy of all UPC numbers for all incoming and outgoing shipments. • Ensure accuracy when filling out Manifest/Bill of Lading. • Ensure accuracy and maintain IBT Seal Log for both incoming and outgoing deliveries. • Run Order Pool (To maintain "on time" purchase orders). • Record and file all incoming and outgoing purchase orders. • Ensure GRB and any AVs are current and accurate. • Ensure Receiving CRT is entering all receivings on a daily basis. • File all Driver Logs. • Ensure Receiving CRT Clerk has all deliveries properly scheduled. • Monthly self audits being performed; action items addressed. • Maintain an open channel of communications with the Logistics Department. • Unload, verify, record, and label all cross-dock pickups. • Ensure all safety policies are being adhered to in the department. • Ensure all HACCP guidelines are in place and according to plan.
