Electrician Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems. Install electrical panels, lighting, switches, outlets, generators, and other electrical equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical plans. Diagnose electrical problems and perform safe, efficient repairs. Ensure all work meets National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local building codes. Communicate professionally with customers and team members. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Electrician Qualifications Residential and/or commercial electrical experience required. Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. North Carolina electrical license is preferred but not required. Electrician Helper Responsibilities Assist electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance. Pull wire, bend conduit, install devices, and prepare materials. Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe. Learn electrical installation techniques while working alongside experienced electricians. Follow all company safety procedures and policies. Electrician Helper Qualifications Previous construction or electrical experience is a plus but not required. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Reliable, dependable, and punctual. Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions. Valid driver's license preferred.
