Job Description Job Description Wash clothes using commercial industrial machines is the primary job description. The person should have a high school diploma or GED, and prior housekeeping experience. May be asked to do other household tasks in the kitchen or other places in the building. Physical stamina is required to stand and walk for long shifts. Ability to lift, carry, push or pull heavy loads (20-50 pounds) into or from commercial washing and drying machines. The person needs basic knowledge of fabrics, colors. and proper washer/drying settings, understanding of cleaning clemicals, detergents, bleaches and safe handling of fabrics, attention to details to spot stains, check pockets, and fold all linens neatly. Job training will be provided for operating specific commercial machinery. Time management is needed to complete daily workload effectively. Medical Dental and vision insurance can be purchased.
