Job Description The Department of Anesthesiology at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont /University of Vermont Health Network, in affiliation with the University of Vermont Medical Group, is seeking a Board certified or Board eligible Obstetric Attending Anesthesiologist with an interest in excellence in clinical care, teaching, research, and administrative missions of a thriving academic department! The Division of Obstetric Anesthesiology members work with Obstetrics and Nursing colleagues to promote and provide best, evidence-based clinical practices that improve maternal-fetal outcomes and long-term health of women and families. We collaborate across disciplines, including cardiology and hematology, to promote womens peripartum health that can extend throughout their lifetimes. As a member of the UVM Department of Anesthesiology and the Obstetric Anesthesiology Division, the role is to provide excellent clinical anesthesia care for peripartum patients as well as to non-obstetric patients in the main operating rooms and ambulatory care areas. Clinical practice will be a mix of solo and supervision of anesthesia residents, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), and Clinical Anesthesiology Assistants (CAAs) as appropriate. This is a full-time clinical scholar pathway faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level based at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Job Description The Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Vermont (UVM) and the UVM Medical Center, are seeking a medical oncologist/hematologist faculty member on the Clinical Scholar Pathway at the Assistant/Associate level to join the Hematology/Oncology Network division with a primary practice site in Plattsburgh, NY. Clinical duties will encompass general oncology and hematology (benign and malignant disease) and include inpatient consult service and outpatient clinics at University of Vermont Health Network Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH) in Plattsburgh, New York, as well as at affiliated clinics in Elizabethtown and Malone, NY. Weekday and weekend call on a rotation with other physicians. The Department of Medicine has initiated a search for a faculty position at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level (Clinical Scholar Pathway) in the Division of Hematology/Oncology. We are seeking a hematologist/medical oncologist to join the clinical team of hematology/oncology physicians caring for patients primarily at the Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC) campus of the UVM Health network. The focus of the role will include clinical care for general medical oncology and hematology patients. The individual will provide medical care to patients in the outpatient setting at CVMC, and will provide consultative hematology/oncology services in the inpatient setting including weekend call. This position involves 90% clinical effort. Applicants must be ABIM board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Oncology. Applicants must be clinically qualified to care for patients in the broad discipline of oncology and hematology and provide coverage for patients over nights and weekends as needed.
