Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are seeking an Assistant Lead Machine Operator to join our team! You will operate a variety of machines and mechanical instruments to help facilitate the coating of liner for boxes. On-the-job training provided. Responsibilities Operate coating machinery Produce materials to set customer specifications Ability to detect and remove defects during production run Collection of production run samples for laboratory testing Perform routine maintenance on machinery Coordinate material movement throughout operation with other plant functions Qualifications Previous experience operating printing and packaging/manufacturing related converting equipment Familiarity with PLC controls and automated manufacturing equipment Lift truck operating experience Problem-solving skills; attention to detail Ability to handle physical workload of 75 lbs Basic Computer Skills Familiarity with Food Safety, IFS, HACCP (preferred) Company Description Spectra-Kote is a long-standing producer of environmentally friendly water-based coating materials for the food packaging industry.
