Job Description Job Description Job Overview: We are a family owned / operated forklift service, sales and rental provider and are seeking a skilled Forklift Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electric, dual fuel & diesel forklift maintenance and repair, with the ability to work on various types of industrial machinery and equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can diagnose issues accurately and provide effective solutions. The Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles and equipment operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities: Major responsibilities of the position are the ability to perform basic and in-depth repairs of forklift and other material handling equipment in a safe and professional manner, which also includes routine maintenance and safety inspections. Operate industrial machinery as needed for repairs or maintenance tasks. Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete repairs efficiently. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working in the shop or on-site. Experience: Proven experience as a Forklift Technician or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of forklift systems and components for electric, dual fuel and diesel forklifts. Familiarity with forklift operation and industrial equipment is highly desirable. Experience in diagnosing mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
