Job Description Job Description Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Screen Burner & Ink Technician with a strong background in production screen printing. This role is critical to maintaining print quality, color consistency, and workflow efficiency in a fast-paced shop environment. This is not an entry-level position -candidates should have hands-on experience with screen prep, exposure, and professional ink mixing systems. Key Responsibilities Burn and register screens using M&R i-Image S (CTS system) Operate NuArc MSP 3140 exposure unit with consistent, repeatable results Mix inks using One Stroke Ink mixing system with high accuracy Maintain and adjust ink formulas for color matching and consistency Troubleshoot exposure, stencil, and ink-related issues proactively Reclaim, degrease, and prepare screens to production-ready standards Work closely with press operators to ensure optimal print performance Maintain strict quality control across all jobs Keep detailed records of ink mixes and screen setups Required Experience 2+ years in a production screen printing environment Proven experience with screen burning, reclaiming, and ink mixing Experience with CTS systems (M&R preferred) Strong understanding of exposure variables, mesh counts, and emulsion techniques Experience with professional ink mixing systems (One Stroke or similar) Ability to color match and maintain consistency across repeat orders What We're Looking For Detail-driven and highly organized Ability to work independently without constant supervision Strong troubleshooting skills in a production setting Reliable, punctual, and production-minded Team player who communicates well with press and production staff Company Description We are a modern, quality-focused shop running M&R equipment and standardized ink systems.
