Job Description Job Description For more than 80 years, Winholt Equipment has been an industry leader in the custom design and manufacturing of food handling and food preparation equipment for the food service industry. We pride ourselves in meeting the ever-changing customer needs through creative engineering, product development, and distribution. We are seeking a MIG Welder to join our team in Allentown, PA. Your responsibilities will include welding aluminum and steel components using state-of-the-art MIG welding equipment. This role also involves selecting and setting up fixtures, interpreting assembly drawings, as well as fitting, aligning, and inspecting the assembled parts. Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Responsibilities: MIG welding and final assembly of aluminum components. Cleaning and repairing welds as needed. Ensuring work is performed in a safe manner and products conform to quality standards Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment. Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency Maintains a high attention to detail and focus on the given task Requirements: One year of experience in MIG welding preferred or the successful completion of a certified welding school. If you are outgoing and have the drive to learn a new skill, Winholt is willing to train the right candidate. Able to read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements. Ability to periodically lift items to 40 pounds without assistance. Ability to identify materials by size and use basic measuring devices such as measuring tape and square. Must be "quality conscious" and customer focused. Welds and assemblies must conform to internal and external welding specifications. Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form Must be reliable and work together as a team of welders supporting a common goal of 100% customer satisfaction. Follows established safety practices, including OSHA requirements. Job Description Job Description Grinds, polishes and finishes stainless steel and aluminum parts and finished assemblies to a high-quality standard in preparation for delivery to the end users. RESPONSIBILITIES: Finish or polish stainless steel and aluminum parts using a variety of stationary and portable grinders, files, buffing wheels and sanders. Perform final assembly operations including wheel/caster or adjustable feet installation. Labeling or product identification and final cleaning in preparation for shipment to customers. Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards Assemble items as instructed by department supervisor Keep work area clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities. Follow all company rules and policies Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task. Follow all safety rules and quality standards Work with you department team to maximize productivity and efficiency Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above Other duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to listen, read, write and communicate effectively Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to bend and kneel and squat frequently. Able to move and/or lift materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds independently. Wear appropriate PPE including safety glasses, face shields, gloves, hardhat, dust masks etc. Repetitive use of hands for simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation. Must have basic mathematical skills Experience working with basic power and hand tools such as die grinders, angle grinders, file, hammer. Must be able to produce consistent quality in accordance with company standards.
