Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Load and unload trucks and railcars per bill of ladings • Receive, count, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments • Verification of required receiving/shipped paperwork • Organize and store product • Operate all warehouse equipment in safe manner • Communicate safety issues to manager/supervisor • Stage customer orders in organized manner on shipping dock • Maintain organized, safe, and clean working environment • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in the Food Program • Ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers • Building maintenance as needed • Perform other duties as assigned. Required Education, Experience, and Skills: • High school diploma or GED • Ability to read shipping and receiving records/reports • Dependable attendance • Hard worker • Team player Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills: • Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes and related equipment • Forklift experience. Working Conditions: • Repetitive work in a fast-paced environment with average temperature of Zero-degree freezers -60 degrees F (depending on worksite location) • Some manual labor with heavy lifting required (approximately 40 pounds)
