We're seeking dependable, detail-oriented candidates to join a growing production team. No manufacturing experience is required-we'll train the right individuals with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Schedule 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Every other weekend off, giving you more time to spend with family and friends! What You'll Do Inspect plastic parts to ensure they meet quality standards from presses during production Package finished products according to work instructions Operate and monitor production equipment Perform trimming, assembly, and other secondary operations Record production and scrap information Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Work as part of a team to meet production goals Qualifications No previous manufacturing experience required-paid training provided! Job Description Job Description The Greer Group has great temp-to-hire manufacturing opportunities available in Canton and Asheville, NC for dependable Assembly and Machine Operator candidates. These positions are with established manufacturing companies offering excellent schedules, overtime opportunities, and long-term career potential after 90 days. Position Summary The Manufacturing Assembly / Machine Operator is responsible for operating production equipment, assembling products, inspecting materials, and supporting daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Operate manufacturing and production equipment safely and efficiently Assemble products and components according to company specifications Perform visual quality inspections on materials and finished products Monitor machines during production runs and report any issues to supervisors Load and unload materials from production equipment Maintain production records and follow work instructions Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Follow all company safety procedures and attendance expectations Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals Qualifications Previous manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, or production experience is preferred but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable attendance and positive work ethic required Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift up to 35 pounds Schedule Options Multiple shifts are available to fit a variety of schedules, including: 1st Shift 2nd Shift 10-hour shifts 12-hour shifts Monday-Thursday schedules Monday-Friday schedules Pay Rates: Pay ranges from $17.00 - $22.00 per hour , depending on shift and job type. Overtime pay after 40 hours worked.
