This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Position SummaryThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment throughout Willow Tree's production, warehouse, retail, and facility operations. This position plays a key role in minimizing downtime, supporting preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be willing to learn and work with hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and electrical systems while supporting the company's commitment to safety, quality, customer service, and operational excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and electrical systemsRespond to equipment breakdowns and production support needsUtilize FIIX CMMS software to document and track maintenance activitiesAssist in identifying root causes of equipment failures and recommend solutionsSupport equipment safety programs and maintain compliance with food safety requirementsMaintain open communication with production, quality, and management teamsProvide timely updates on equipment performance and repair statusFollow all company safety, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Support maintenance needs at Willow Tree facilities and company-owned propertiesPerform other duties as assigned QualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environmentStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesExperience with preventive maintenance programsBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and emailStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and regulationsAbility to diagnose equipment issues and estimate repair requirements accuratelyAny required state or federal licenses applicable to the position PreferredFormal technical training in electronics, industrial maintenance, or a related fieldExperience with CMMS software systemsExperience working in food manufacturing environments Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout production facilities for extended periodsAbility to work in refrigerated and freezer environmentsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularlyManual dexterity to operate tools and equipment safelyAbility to work in a physically demanding industrial environment ScheduleFull-Time PositionTypical workdays are 8-10 hoursFive to six days per weekOccasional Saturday work requiredOn-call coverage may be requiredFlexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or extended hours when necessary to support production operations Why Willow Tree?At Willow Tree Poultry Farm, our employees are essential to our success.
