Job Description Job Description Electrical Project Manager Location: Fort Worth, TX Position Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 annually Travel Requirements This role requires travel as needed to support project execution. Travel is not continuous or extended weekly travel, but rather scheduled and task-based. Travel may include: Visiting project sites during estimating, preconstruction, and planning phases Traveling to start projects and support mobilization efforts Traveling to review project progress, verify field conditions, and support project closeout On-site visits as needed to support field teams and client coordination Travel is project-driven and task-based , not a full-time out-of-town assignment. Project Types This position supports a wide range of construction sectors, including: Industrial projects Commercial projects Federal projects (including VA facilities) Federal correctional facilities (prisons) State-funded construction projects Project Locations Projects may be located across multiple states, including: Texas Oklahoma Arkansas New Mexico Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of commercial, industrial, and government electrical construction projects. This role is responsible for managing budgets, schedules, field coordination, client relationships, and overall project performance from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with deep electrical construction experience and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple sectors while maintaining strong financial and operational control. Key Responsibilities Lead estimating, planning, and execution of electrical construction projects across multiple sectors. Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to ensure profitability. Oversee project schedules and ensure milestones are met. Develop and maintain project reports, documentation, and client updates. Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring strong communication and satisfaction. Coordinate with field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and internal teams. Conduct site visits for project startup, progress validation, and closeout review. Identify and resolve project risks, delays, and field issues proactively. Manage change orders, procurement, billing, and contract compliance. Support and mentor project team members and field leadership. Qualifications Required Experience & Credentials 7-10+ years of electrical construction experience. 5+ years of electrical project management experience. Journeyman Electrician License preferred. Strong knowledge of commercial, industrial, and government electrical construction. Desired Skills Strong leadership and team development abilities. Excellent client relationship management skills. Strong financial management, budgeting, and forecasting experience. Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with project management and estimating software. Ideal Candidate Profile The successful candidate will be: A hands-on project leader who understands field operations and office management. Comfortable working across multiple project types and government sectors. Financially disciplined with strong attention to project cost control. Skilled in building relationships with clients, inspectors, and field teams. Organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
