Why This Role This is a hands-on training role with real responsibility. You'll develop quickly with close support from experienced litigators. Hands-on litigation experience across discovery, law & motion, and depositions Direct access to Partners and senior litigators, with clear feedback and increasing responsibility as your judgment and output strengthen. Clear path to more responsibility as you demonstrate reliability and judgment High earning potential without business development expectations A team that moves quickly, communicates directly, and values good work What You'll Do Draft written discovery and responses; review document productions and support eDiscovery workflows Research and write motions, including discovery-related motions and pleading challenges Prepare for and participate in hearings (CMC, ex parte, discovery hearings, etc.) Attend and defend consumer client depositions; prepare outlines and exhibit sets Partner with paralegals and litigation staff to keep cases organized and moving Maintain strong calendaring and deadline discipline in a paperless environment Travel within California as needed for hearings, depositions, and inspections What "Success" Looks Like In your first 60-90 days, you: produce clean, reliable written work and improve speed over time stay accountable on deadlines and communicate early when something is at risk show good judgment, curiosity, and coachability earn more courtroom and deposition reps (hearing appearances, depos, higher-stakes matters) as you prove consistent performance.
