The Associate Attorney will work closely with the firm owner to handle a diverse caseload, provide legal analysis and strategy, and represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations. Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person Compensation: $95,000 - $120,000 DOE Responsibilities: Conduct legal research, analysis, and case preparation in the family law practice area. Assist senior attorneys in case management, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to gather information, provide updates, and negotiate settlements. Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings. Attend client meetings, consultations, and court appearances as required. Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management. Stay informed about changes in relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting our practice areas. Uphold the firm's commitment to providing high-quality legal services, ethical conduct, and client satisfaction. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility for admission via waiver or reciprocity. Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law with a focus on Family law. Experience in immigration and personal injury is a plus, but not required. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and external parties. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
