Responsible for the conversion of raw material in the production room into finished product, as specified on the production order, while maintaining established guidelines for safety, quality, and productivity ? Observe all safety regulations required in the Production Department ? Responsible for the inspection and quality as well as the records for inspection ? Load and unload material from stock to the proper machine ? Set up machine to produce proper lengths and widths of finished product ? Package finished product, as specified on the job order, to guarantee safety of the product during storage and shipment ? Accurately record time, material, packaging, and other information required from the operator by the job order ? Perform necessary maintenance to ensure operational and safety standards are met for each piece of equipment ? Maintain cleanliness throughout the Production and Warehouse areas to ensure safety and professional standards ? Demonstrate the ability to convert all types of raw material into finished product efficiently and in a safe manner with a high degree of accuracy ? Maintain accurate inventory of both raw materials and finished goods ? Assist in educating Machine Operator Trainees ? The person in this position may perform additional functions as required by Executive Management Production Machine Operator Knowledge and Skills Preferred ? Basic understanding of manufacturing. ?
