Saturdays are optional $38-42/hour DOE Responsibilities of a Journeyman Electrician: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, fixtures, and devices. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues. Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Mentor and supervise apprentice electricians. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Qualifications of a Journeyman Electrician: Valid Journeyman Electrician license Minimum of 1 year of experience as a journeyman electrician. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a ground-up commercial construction project while gaining valuable experience alongside skilled electricians. Responsibilities of an Apprentice Electrician: Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems to include switch gears, motor controls, electrical, lighting and power supplies. Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Perform basic electrical tasks such as wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment. Use and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform preventive maintenance. Keep work areas clean and organized. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience on a commercial renovation while working alongside experienced electricians. Assist with the installation of electrical systems for a commercial remodel. Pull wire, bend and install conduit, and assist with device and fixture installation. Support demolition and replacement of existing electrical components. Read and follow blueprints under the direction of a Journeyman Electrician. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
