Job DescriptionJob Description Company Description: Plastic Molding Technology (PMT) manufactures high precision plastic parts for automotive, telecommunications, medical device, renewable energy, and industrial customers. The primary manufacturing processes are injection molding and thermoforming. PMT has 100 injection molding presses at its two primary manufacturing locations in El Paso, TX and Centennial, CO (a suburb of Denver). A third facility in Longmont, CO (a suburb of Denver) provides in-house repair and fabrication of tools & dies. Why Join Us? Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative manufacturing environment Growth potential within the company What you'll do: Molding machine setup and processing Process improvement and troubleshooting Work with QA Inspectors to maintain part quality standards Basic machine maintenance Verbal and written communication with production staff, quality, warehouse, engineering, and management Creation, documentation, and maintenance of injection molding processes Mold teardown, assembly, cleaning, and maintenance Setup, monitor, and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment to include sprue pickers, robots, thermolators, material loaders, conveyors, valve gates, and hot tip controllers Assist production staff with part assembly and packaging as needed Perform other duties as assigned What we're looking for: Excellent time management Working knowledge of scientific molding principles Effective communication skills Makes attendance and punctuality a top priority Attention to detail with the end user of the product in mind Has a team player attitude Shares ideas and asks questions Self-starter QUALIFICATIONS: Willing to work overtime and weekends if needed periodically.
