Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead the development and operation of a new steel pipe manufacturing facility in Eloy, Arizona. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the COO, with full responsibility for plant efficiency, production, quality, and safety.The facility will include: Pipe Linings & Coatings Operations (cement mortar, epoxy, and poly systems) Fabrication Shop (AWWA steel fittings from 4" to 120") Pipe Mill Operations (AWWA C-200 welded steel pipe from 16" to 54")Key Responsibilities: Lead all day-to-day plant operations across coating, fabrication, and mill production Develop and execute operational strategies to meet production, cost, and delivery targets Establish KPIs and drive improvements in throughput, uptime, and yield Lead selection, specification, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment Optimize performance of pipe mills, coating systems, and fabrication equipment Partner with engineering and vendors on installation, startup, and reliability Establish preventive maintenance and reliability programs Lead plant commissioning, ramp-up, and stabilization Ensure compliance with AWWA standards and implement QA/QC systems Build and enforce best-in-class safety programs Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing operations team Manage plant budget, cost controls, and performance reportingQualifications: 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations Strong background in heavy industrial, steel, or pipe manufacturing Expertise in manufacturing equipment and process optimization Experience with pipe mills, welding systems, and/or coating equipment Proven experience in plant startup or major expansion Working knowledge of AWWA standards (preferred) Track record of improving safety, quality, and production performanceWe are looking for a hands-on, technically strong leader who is comfortable on the floor, understands equipment and processes deeply, and can build a high-performing operation from the ground up.This is a unique opportunity to shape a flagship facility and have direct impact at the executive level.If you or someone you know may be a fit, we would welcome the opportunity to connect.
