ACME CONTROL SYSTEM CORPORATION seeks one full-time Electrical Engineer to work at its office in Phoenix, AZ. Candidate must have at least a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; or Marine Engineering, along with OSHA-authorized 30-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training certification, with 12 months of prior Process Engineer or Field Engineer or Equipment Engineer experience. International travel required to Taiwan, 1-2 times a year, to survey control panels, PLC systems, and equipment at the manufacturing facility, with each trip lasting approximately 2-4 weeks. Candidate duties will include: Design, implement, and improve electrical control and instrumentation systems to meet specifications and client requirements. Prepare electrical drawings and specifications and perform engineering calculations to establish installation standards. Coordinate manufacturing, installation, and commissioning with vendors and field crews; inspect installations for compliance with design, codes, and safety. Develop test plans; perform testing, troubleshooting, and corrective actions; document results. Analyze operational data to diagnose and resolve power-system or controls issues; recommend changes to improve reliability and efficiency. Collaborate with engineers and customers to define requirements, review options, resolve technical issues, and prepare technical reports and submittals. Prepare quantity calculations, bills of materials, and installation scopes; provide inputs to labor and material budgets and procurement. Candidate must have 12 months of work experience using Autodesk AutoCAD, Siemens TIA Portal, Mitsubishi GX Works, and SCADA software, as well as 12 months of on-site coordination experience with facility-related departments.
