Job DescriptionJob Description Atlantic Southern is seeking a qualified Resident Agricultural Equipment Field Technician / Mechanic. You can live in Marion, Florence, SC, Lumberton, NC, Concord, Charlotte, NC, or any other city around those areas. We need an experienced Field / Road Technician to help support our customers south of our branch in Goldsboro, NC. The service manager in Goldsboro will dispatch you to and from your home and support you daily. You may be asked to report to the office for training, meetings, or other events. We offer Excellent Pay, Great Benefits Package, Nice take-home service Truck, and more Reports to: Service Manager Purpose: Travels to the customer's location and performs basic and advanced diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance of the customer's and/or dealer's agricultural equipment. Responsibilities: Performs basic and advanced diagnostics and repairs Performs work in a timely manner and orderly fashion while following safety rules and regulations Participates in training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge Maintain current knowledge of AGCO and competitive products Maintain the condition of your field service vehicle, inventory, tools, equipment, and work area Complete and turn in all daily reports and forms as required in conjunction with work assignments Account for all time and materials used in performing assigned duties. Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge: High school diploma or equivalent Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or min 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment, following outlined procedures Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical (CAN/IsoBus systems), and hydraulic systems Ability to learn and utilize diagnostic and support software (EDT, WINTEST, CAT ET) Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes Proficient oral and written communication skills Must be capable of passing DOT Physical Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly Join Our Service Team Today If interested in this opposition and would like to learn more - please apply here and include your resume and contact info. Job DescriptionJob Description Agricultural Equipment. Field and or Shop Service Technicians needed. Excellent Pay and Benefits Package Position Specifics: Department: Service Reports to Service Manager or Service Location Manager Purpose: Performs basic and advanced diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment. At times will include direction and guidance from the Service Manager and or Senior Technicians Responsibilities: Performs basic and advanced diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment Participates in training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge Maintain current knowledge of AGCO and competitive products Maintain condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, equipment and work area Performs work in a timely and orderly fashion while following safety rules and regulations Complete and turn in all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments Account for all time on a time card and for all material used in performing assigned duties Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge: 1+ years of experience performing service repairs on application equipment Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment, following outlined procedures Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical (CAN / ISO Bus systems) and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural equipment Ability to learn and utilize diagnostic and support software Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes Proficient oral and written communication skills Must be capable of passing DOT physical Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly A valid driver's license is required Forklift certification is a plus Job Type: Full-time Field Service Technician Job Location: Based out of Goldsboro, NC and includes travel to East NC and South Carolina Required education: High school or equivalent experience, an Associate's degree is a plus.
