Job Description Job Description About the Role: A Construction Foreman supports commercial and industrial construction projects by assisting skilled trades, maintaining jobsite organization, and performing physically demanding tasks. This role plays a critical part in keeping projects on schedule by handling materials, preparing work areas, and ensuring safe and clean jobsite conditions. Laborers work in active construction environments and must follow strict safety protocols. Specific Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field personnel, subcontractors, and labor crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Plan, assign, and monitor daily work tasks while ensuring quality workmanship and productivity standards are met. Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to maintain workflow and resolve jobsite issues. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project drawings to direct field installations. Oversee material deliveries, inventory, staging, and equipment utilization to maintain efficient jobsite operations. Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and jobsite-specific safety requirements. Inspect work in progress to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable building codes. Train, mentor, and provide guidance to crew members on proper installation techniques, safety practices, and company expectations. Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule. Coordinate installation activities involving conduit, cable tray, framing systems, low voltage infrastructure, and other construction components. Ensure tools, equipment, and machinery are properly maintained and safely operated by field personnel. Complete daily reports, production tracking, timekeeping, and other required project documentation. Communicate effectively with customers, inspectors, vendors, and project stakeholders regarding project status and field activities. Perform hands-on work as needed while leading by example and maintaining productivity. Work from ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, and other elevated work platforms as required. Maintain reliable attendance, dependable transportation, and the ability to report to the jobsite on time each day. Required Qualifications: Reliable transportation and ability to report to the jobsite on time daily. Valid driver's license if required for the role. Full PPE including hard hat, safety vest, steel toe boots, gloves, and safety glasses. Basic hand tools and trade specific tools as required. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing for extended periods. Ability to follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to take direction. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or extended shifts as needed. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred Ability to work in secure or badge access environments. This role is requiring ironworker-type skills (such as welding, structural fabrication, and metal processing) focus on high-volume, rapid production, and structural assembly. You will perform fabrication and repairs to metal components, including structural aluminum die castings, to ensure high-quality production of energy storage units. Specific Responsibilities: Set up and operate weld fixtures, MIG (GMAW), or spot-welding equipment. Read blueprints and specifications to lay out, position, and secure steel or aluminum parts for assembly. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production die sets. Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move large metal components. Adhere to strict safety standards, including PPE usage and working with molten metal. Required Qualifications : Experience: 3+ years of experience in production environments, specifically with high-speed die-sets or heavy fabrication. Technical Skills: Proficiency in GMAW/MIG welding, oxy/acetylene torch cutting, and plasma cutting. Ability to interpret blueprints and weld symbols. Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for 12 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varied weather conditions (if outdoor fabrication).
