This position supports the development and production of live event video, creative film projects, and other digital media content. The Video Production Technician assists with a wide range of production activities, including field and studio operations, videography, digital media editing and design, and operation of live broadcast equipment. The role may also involve LED video wall deployment and operation, technical directing, and media production responsibilities. In some cases, this individual may serve as a production crew leader and represent the team supervisor while working directly with clients and freelance or contract operators. This position also includes transporting crew and production equipment in company vehicles and towing trailers as needed. The ideal candidate can manage multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating with coworkers to ensure production goals are met, and media content aligns with client objectives and the organization's commitment to the highest quality production standards. Key Responsibilities Assist with field and studio video production Capture video using professional digital cinema and broadcast cameras Edit and produce digital media content for a variety of platforms Operate live broadcast and video switching equipment Assist with the setup and operation of LED video walls and other production systems Support technical directing and production workflow Coordinate with team members, clients, and freelance crew Transport crew and production equipment, including towing trailers Troubleshoot technical production issues as they arise Maintain high production quality and client satisfaction Qualifications 2+ years of experience in video or film production Ability to operate professional video/digital film cameras with precision and creativity Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) and media conversion tools Ability to operate live video switching and production equipment Knowledge of IP-based production workflows and networking Ability to coach and direct talent or subjects on camera Ability to plan production projects and help others visualize the final product Strong troubleshooting skills for technical production issues Familiarity with current video technology and media production best practices Positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn new skills Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong communication and writing skills Excellent customer service skills Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card Benefits This full-time position includes a competitive benefits package through STRATA Networks. Wage starts at $90,000-$115,000 annually to support and maintain our Linux-based telecommunications infrastructure. This hands-on role focuses on daily operations of PHP LAMP stack applications and core telecom platforms, including HSS (Home Subscriber Server), OTA (Over-The-Air provisioning), ENUM services, and carrier integration systems running on Ubuntu servers.
