Overview Dental Office Manager Minnesota Periodontal Associates We are a professional, modern, well-organized clinic providing specialized gum and implant care with precision and compassion. Our team is committed to providing the highest standard of patient centered care. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Dental Office Manager to lead our team and manage the daily operations of our practice. In this role, you'll ensure smooth administrative workflows, provide support to our provider(s) and team members, and cultivate a positive and efficient environment for both patients and the team. Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Thursday 8am - 5pm, occasional half day on Fridays. No weekends or evenings. Responsibilities Handles patient concerns and resolve issues in a professional, timely manner Assesses current bottlenecks in the patient journey; provides actionable improvement plans and ensures process completion Trained and proficient in all aspects of the front desk responsibilities and able to perform them on a daily basis Manages accurate dental benefits and claim processing (including verification, payments and patient accounts). Explains treatment plans and payment plans to patients Provides availability when the clinic is open and is able to observe all teammates in real-time while being present in all areas of the facility throughout the day Improves daily productivity through a reduction in patient intake/scheduling errors while actively monitoring provider schedules to avoid same day canceled appointments, unnecessary gaps Leads a team of non-clinical (front desk) and clinical (assistants) teammates by hiring, training, mentoring, and providing accountability to all performance concerns in a timely manner Manages team schedules for front desk and dental assistants. Performs payroll duties and teammate reviews as directed Creates and manages administrative reports relating to financial health of facility for review with doctors and the leadership team Manages complete operation and performance of the clinic: adheres to a budget, forecasts expenses, manages vendor relationships, order supplies, and monitors compliance. Coordinates facility management as related to repairs, maintenance, vendor relationships. Ensures OSHA/HIPAA compliance of the team and facility. Qualifications Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience managing a dental practice 2+ years of experience in supervising and leading a team Preferred Skills Knowledge of dental practice and procedures preferred Strong leadership and team management abilities Experience with dental practice management software Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications Thorough understanding of dental billing, insurance claims, patient scheduling and treatment planning Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations We Offer Competitive Compensation Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and much more! The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $65,000/annually based on full-time employment.
