Position Overview: The Traveling Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervising field crews, coordinating electrical installations, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with project specifications across multiple job sites. This role requires extensive travel to various project locations and the ability to lead teams effectively in diverse environments. Key Responsibilities: Supervise, schedule, and coordinate the daily activities of electricians and apprentices. Oversee installation of electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and company safety policies. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide installations. Manage material procurement, deliveries, and jobsite logistics. Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and General Contractors to maintain project timelines and budgets. Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with all OSHA standards. Perform quality checks and ensure work meets customer expectations. Train and mentor apprentices and junior electricians. Maintain accurate daily reports and time tracking. Qualifications: Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician (state-specific as required). 5+ years of electrical field experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or foreman role. Strong understanding of NEC, electrical systems, and construction practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel extensively and work on remote or out-of-state projects. Valid driver s license and clean driving record. Preferred Experience: Experience in commercial, industrial, or data center construction. Proficiency with digital reporting tools (Procore, PlanGrid, etc.). OSHA 30 certification.
