Unit Description: In accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations, the Registered Nurse is directly responsible for attending to patient's nursing needs in the office setting and over the phone. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the care and treatment of patients according to the standards of nursing practice. Must demonstrate a pleasant disposition to patients, families, and coworkers. Patient confidentiality will be maintained at all times. The Lead Nurse functions as a leader of the clinical support staff at the practice. On-call: Not required. Requirements: Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required. Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit. Unit Description: As a nurse in the Operating Room at Porter Medical Center you are working in a collaborative atmosphere and have the opportunity to circulate and scrub. The operating room is open Monday through Friday seeing both inpatient and outpatient surgeries. Please note, this is a per diem position.
