Description :The Chaplain Resident is authorized to visit patients, families, and staff, for the purpose of providing pastoral and spiritual care ministry according to Chaplaincy Department procedures. The Chaplain Resident has access to appropriate medical records and documents his/her interventions in the medical record according to department procedure. S/he will participate in the Chaplaincy Department duties and procedures relevant to the role of Chaplain Resident. The Resident Chaplain will report to the CPE Program Supervisor and to the Director of Chaplaincy both of whom are certified by ICPT. Description :CoxHealth will provide a hands-on, paid training program with free tuition to students through the OTC Medical Assistant Program. Upon acceptance to the program students will sign a work agreement to work Full Time for CoxHealth Clinics for two and half years. Participants must commit to a 16 week accelerated, in-person course which includes OTC classroom time and clinical rotations throughout Springfield, Branson, and rural clinics. While in clinical rotations students will observe preceptors and in-turn will perform hands-on tasks observed by the preceptors to prepare them for a Medical Assistant position upon graduation. Students who successfully complete the program will graduate with an MA certification and be eligible to apply for Medical Assistant III positions at CoxHealth. Description :The LPN performs administrative duties that include, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and data entry in medical records. Clinical duties will include measuring and recording vital signs, collecting demographics and medical information including review of medication list, preparing patients for examination, cleaning rooms and equipment and stocking supplies. This position will involve the administration of medications as ordered by the physician.
