Turret Operator (Forklift) - Replenishment & Put-Away Fall River, MA Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM $18.00+/hour, with final compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. About the Role D2G Group is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Turret Operator to join our Distribution Center team in Fall River, MA. This position is primarily responsible for replenishing inventory and performing put-away operations using a turret truck in a narrow aisle warehouse environment. You'll spend the majority of your day operating material handling equipment to ensure inventory is accurately stored and readily available to support efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working at elevated heights, committed to maintaining a safe work environment, and takes pride in accuracy, productivity, and teamwork. What You'll Do Operate a turret truck throughout the day to replenish inventory and complete put-away tasks. Safely transport, retrieve, and store product within narrow aisle warehouse racking at elevated heights. Use RF scanners (PDA devices) and the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to accurately complete inventory transactions. Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on forklifts and other powered industrial equipment. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper product handling and movement. Assist with picking, loading, unloading, and other warehouse functions as needed. Safely operate forklifts, order pickers, and other material handling equipment. Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures while identifying and reporting potential hazards. Cross-train in multiple warehouse functions to support operational needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. Previous forklift experience required. Previous experience operating a turret truck strongly preferred. Comfortable working at elevated heights in a narrow aisle warehouse environment. Experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently while meeting productivity and accuracy expectations. Basic computer and math skills. Ability to read and follow written instructions. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, push, and pull throughout an 8-hour shift. Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 40 lbs. unassisted. Team lifting of items weighing more than 40 lbs. when required. Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment for extended periods.
