NP Mechanical Inc is a 100% Employee - Owned ESOP - long term retirement plan. We are looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working HVAC Installer with experience installing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Job Responsibilities - Install HVAC systems in multi-family residential buildings, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. - Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan layouts and installations. - Coordinate with project managers and other contractors to ensure timely completion of installations. - Test HVAC systems for proper functionality and troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation. - Ensure all installations meet safety standards and perform necessary adjustments or repairs. - Maintain accurate records of installations, including materials used and time spent on each project. - Provide guidance and support to junior installers and apprentices. - Communicate effectively with clients and building managers to address any concerns or special requirements. - Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and installation techniques. - Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring a high standard of workmanship and customer service. Position Requirements Job Requirements: - High school diploma or GED equivalent. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC installation, specifically in multi-family residential projects. - Valid HVAC technician license or certification. - Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation techniques, and industry standards. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. - Ability to use hand and power tools related to HVAC installation. - Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. - Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and tools, and work in confined spaces. - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. - Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when necessary. - Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
