Requires a Juris Doctorate or foreign equivalent degree and 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of experience managing an international charter organization. Also required is 4 years of legal experience within the aviation industry, including experience: working on corporate and regulatory matters related to air charter operations; working with North, Central, and South America laws, procedures, and guidelines; applying both common law and civil law frameworks to corporate, commercial, and financial transactions within the aviation and transportation sectors; advising both domestic and international companies, particularly with regard to cross-border transactions, joint ventures, aircraft leasing, financing, and M&A activity; performing contract negotiation and drafting, including with regard to aircraft charter agreements, ACMI leases, and master agreements; and advising air charter companies in connection with corporate structuring and governance, compliance with domestic and international aviation regulations, risk management and liability mitigation, and insurance and indemnity provisions.
