Active Florida medical license required. Shared on-call schedule for full-time pathologists; part-time position primarily focused on vacation and leave coverage. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough examination and evaluation of surgical pathology specimens. Independently perform frozen sections and assess specimen adequacy for cytology. Manage a daily mixed caseload of specimens (full-time); part-time coverage will involve managing cases during coverage periods, including: Breast (core biopsies and excisions) Thoracic pathology Non-neoplastic and limited neoplastic GYN GU, GI, Neuro, limited Head & Neck Limited Hematopathology Cytology: thyroid, lung EBUS, GI EBUS Work closely with laboratory staff and referring physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and excellent patient care.
