As our company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team at our Corporate Office in Naples. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in the financial success of a dynamic, multi-location retail organization while working alongside an experienced Financial Controller. Position Summary Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Company's financial records and supporting the accounting operations of our 16 retail locations. The Senior Accountant performs advanced accounting functions including month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, inventory accounting, budgeting support, financial analysis, and continuous process improvement. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment. What You'll Do Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support the month-end and year-end close process. Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports. Analyze profit and loss and balance sheet variances. Reconcile bank accounts and support cash management activities. Support inventory accounting and reconciliation for multiple retail locations. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Prepare audit schedules and assist with annual audits and regulatory reporting. Evaluate and improve accounting workflows to increase efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration between the Corporate Office and store locations. Utilize Epicor Eagle and Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and improve reporting. Partner with store management and department leaders to support sound financial decision-making. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, and financial analysis. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications Retail, inventory, or multi-location accounting experience. Experience with Epicor Eagle accounting software. CPA or CPA candidate is a plus. Why Join Vision Ace Hardware?
