Dorn s Delivery & Transfer in Appleton is searching for a full-time Diesel Mechanic to join our team with solid mechanical skills. Our mechanics play a vital role in keeping our fleet safe, reliable and ready for daily operations. Responsibilities include: Performing preventative maintenance on company tractors. Schedule and perform repairs and maintenance to ensure safe, efficient performance of tractors. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment. Provide emergency & unscheduled repairs of equipment, including road service calls. Obtain quotes on parts, supplies and service by outside vendors. Perform DOT and brake inspections on all vehicles. Communicate with team & management to coordinate scheduling of repairs. Work both independently and within a team environment. Ensure a safe working environment. Requirements: Valid driver's license. CDL a plus, not required. DOT annual inspection certification Organizational skills. Experience in heavy mechanical maintenance.
