Job Description: Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class A LOWBOY DRIVER to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading heavy equipment safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of route navigation, vehicle operation, and adherence to safety regulations. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the equipment. Job Functions: Work and operate tractor and trailer safely and adhere to DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations and policies. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and lowboy trailer. Operate various types of heavy equipment including excavators, graders, dozers, off-rd. trucks, etc. Safely load, secure, and unload equipment as required, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, managers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely delivery to specific job sites. Maintain accurate digital paperwork for timesheets and vehicle DVIR's. Adhere to all traffic laws and DOT and company safety regulations and policies. Maintain a professional and respectful attitude at all times. Requirements: Valid Class A CDL, up-to-date medical card, and registered in the FMCSA Clearinghouse-drug and alcohol program. Must be accepted by our insurance company. Must be able to effectively communicate, read and write in English. Minimum 3 yrs experience with lowboy trailers and heavy equipment hauling. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills for effective communications with job site personnel and team members.
