Order diagnostic tests as applicable as well as request consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated. Technically proficient in directing and teaching other medical staff, providing educational lectures, and participating in the provision of in-service training to clinic staff members. Such direction and interaction will adhere to Government and professional clinical standards and accepted clinical protocols Perform as a principal treating physician to technically direct a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care with other health care providers and providing consultative services pursuant to optimal health care delivery to the patient suffering from pain. Provide chronic comprehensive medical and advanced interventional pain treatments to patients with complex pain conditions including consultation, management, monitoring, evaluation, and treatment. Participate in an on-site designated Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) telementoring training program. Provide tele-mentoring, tele-medicine, and tele-consults. Minimum Qualifications: Degree/Education: MD or DO; Successful completion of 12 months of full-time training in a Pain Medicine fellowship program accredited by Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Experience: Possess two years of clinical work experience within the preceding five years providing pain management services to patients with complex pain conditions. Licensure: Active/clear license to practice as a physician from Florida DEA: Current and active DEA certification Clinical Board Certification: Possess and maintain a current Board Certification in the HCW s primary specialty of Anesthesiology, Psychiatry, Neurology, or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (aka Physiatry) from their nationally recognized American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association.
