Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations: Oversee all daily operations within the warehouse, ensuring that inventory is properly received, stored, and distributed in a timely manner. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, manage stock levels, and conduct regular audits to ensure that inventory is accounted for and in good condition. Order Processing: Enter purchase orders into the system, ensure materials are received correctly, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely deliveries. Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. Ensure all forklift operations comply with safety standards. Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a small team of warehouse workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Organizational Skills: Implement and maintain efficient storage solutions, ensuring that the warehouse is organized and that materials are easily accessible. Time Management: Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, ensuring that all warehouse operations are completed within deadlines. Safety Compliance: Ensure that the warehouse operates in compliance with all safety regulations and that all employees adhere to safety protocols. Reporting: Generate and submit reports on inventory levels, material receipts, and warehouse operations to management as required. Vehicle Operations: Must have a valid driver's license to occasionally transport materials or make deliveries as needed. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably within the plumbing or construction industry. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training or certification in warehouse management or logistics is a plus. Skills: Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to operate a forklift and a valid forklift operator certification. Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer skills. Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed and stand for extended periods.
