A busy Urgent Care, Primary Care Clinic is seeking a Physician Assistant, with experience in urgent care, emergency medicine and family medicine, to join our clinics! You will have the opportunity to provide healthcare services in the Severna Park, Canton, White Marsh as well as Halethorpe Communities. Responsibilities: Providing primary care/ Urgent Care to patients Performing initial evaluation, including physical exams and patient observations Setting up and monitor medical equipment Communicating test results to patients and their families Recording patient's medical history Administer injections and other medical procedures including: laceration repair, I&D, foreign body removal and splinting Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance Develop and implement patient management plans based on lab results and/or X-rays Maintain a safe and clean work environment Qualifications: Previous experience in the Family Medicine, Emergency Room or Urgent Care setting Familiarity with medical tools and equipment Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Candidates with previous experience in pain management and/or orthopedics are highly desirable. Physician Assistant Requirements: must have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program with current license to practice in the State of Delaware/Virginia/ Maryland. The Pain Management Physician Assistant duties include but not limited to: Conduct thorough physical examination of patients presenting with pain-related concerns; Reviewing patient's medical history: Administer and monitor medication management for pain relief, following established protocols and guidelines; Consulting with other providers before deciding on a therapy or treatment program to help patients manage their pain; Using knowledge and pain management skills to find effective non-invasive treatment options; Performing joint injections; Provide patient education on pian management techniques, lifestyle modifications and self-care strategies; Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients; Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of pain management through continuous learning and professional development. Ability to work independently and take initiative, demonstrating a high level of autonomy in decision-making.
