Role Description Determines, develops, or manages technical solutions for cloud, hybrid-based cloud, and distributed enterprise environments and implements standards, technologies, solutions, and procedures. Recommends engineering and technical solutions to support customer requirements and technical requirements based upon analysis of user, policy, technology, regulatory, and resource demands; recommends cloud-specific solutions for customer requirements; directs and/or supports design of solutions for enterprise cloud environments; has specific knowledge and experience developing or engineering cloud service provider solutions; and possesses expert knowledge in one or more areas of respective Cloud Service Provider (CSP) environment. This is a full-time hybrid Cloud Engineer role located in Washington, DC. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with managing and building cloud infrastructure solutions and integrations with third-party systems. The engineer will be responsible for participating in all phases of the cloud development lifecycle, with flexibility for some remote work. Telecommute: This position is not remote Position Type: Full time, W-2 employee of Magnus Management Group (40 hrs. a week) Contract length: 3 years Role: Facial Recognition & Multi-Biometric Systems Specialist Position Overview We are seeking a Facial Recognition & Multi-Biometric Systems Specialist to provide advanced technical expertise in support of a law enforcement Criminalistics Multi-Biometric Identification System (MBIS). This role is ideal for a professional with hands-on experience in a forensic or crime laboratory environment, particularly focused on facial recognition technologies, image analysis, and biometric verification. The specialist will play a critical role in processing, analyzing, and validating biometric data to assist law enforcement agencies in the accurate identification of persons of interest. Key Responsibilities Facial Recognition Expertise Perform automated and manual facial recognition analysis, including verification of system-generated candidate lists and dispositioning results (e.g., Hit, No Hit). Conduct comparative reviews of facial images from multiple sources to confirm identity and assign proper identifiers in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Perform initial image accuracy checks on all incoming biometric transactions to ensure high-quality captures for reliable facial recognition outcomes. Identify and resolve issues with facial image quality or demographic data entry, coordinating with law enforcement agencies to correct transmissions. Provide expert guidance on best practices for capturing and submitting facial biometric data to maximize system accuracy and minimize rejections. Multi-Biometric & Criminalistics Support Process incoming biometric transactions (fingerprints, iris, facial, and mobile ID) from law enforcement agencies. Support CI staff in identifying persons of interest through multiple biometric identification methods. Conduct ongoing quality control reviews of biometric datasets, correcting errors and maintaining accurate records. Update and develop SOPs, policies, and laboratory operating manuals for MBIS operations. Perform technical and administrative reviews of biometric examination reports, compiling and analyzing statistical data. Assist with sealing and destruction of biometric records, ensuring compliance with applicable policies. Participate in annual accreditation audits for the crime lab. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide training to staff on MBIS technologies, with emphasis on facial recognition systems. System & Stakeholder Interaction Document and report system problems; liaise with vendor help desks, IT staff, or system maintenance teams to resolve issues. Respond to inquiries from law enforcement agencies regarding biometric examinations, requirements, and rejected data. Provide expert consultation and testimony as a fact or expert witness in court regarding biometric analysis results. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science, Criminal Justice, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in a crime lab or law enforcement biometric identification environment, with direct expertise in facial recognition technologies. Experience developing SOPs, training materials, and forensic documentation. Ability to testify in court as a biometric/facial recognition expert witness.

CYBERSECURITY INCIDENT RESPONSE & THREAT DETECTION ANALYST Location: Columbus, Ohio or Ft. Belvoir, Virginia or Battle Creek, MI. DOD Top Secret Clearance Certification: Baseline Certification for IAT-II and CNDSP/CSSP-IR Participates in 24x7x365 monitoring of SIEM and other cybersecurity monitoring tools to detect and respond to cybersecurity threats within the Enterprise Network Environment. Performs actions to protect, monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to unauthorized activity. Employs Cybersecurity capabilities and deliberate actions to respond to specific alerts or emerging threats. Reviews logged events for trends that are indicative of attack or compromise within the environment. Actively monitors logs and traffic for Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) and "low and slow" attacks within the environment. Maintains awareness of possible threats with the use of intelligence resources which include Open Source Intelligence (OSINT). Provides technical analysis and sustainment support for the enterprise for Cybersecurity tools and applications and assists with the application of Defense-In-Depth signatures and perimeter defense controls to diminish network threats. Minimum Requirements: • Five (5) years relevant experience • Two (2) years performing root cause analysis of cybersecurity events and incidents. • Working knowledge of at least two types of security tools: Firewall, IDS/IPS, Host based antivirus, Data loss prevention, Vulnerability Management, Forensics, Malware Analysis, Device Hardening, Understanding of Defense-in-Depth, Ability to build scripts and tools to enhance threat detection and incident response capabilities (Preferably in SPL, Python, PowerShell) • Must possess IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5) at time of proposal submission. • Must have Baseline Certification for IAT-II and CNDSP/CSSP-IR when on boarding and must have one of the "Computer Network Defense" CE Certifications within six (6) months of onboarding.

You will work closely with development teams to integrate their projects into the AWS environment and ensure the system's performance aligns with business objectives and security standards. Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, high availability cloud infrastructure on AWS. Migrate existing on-premises applications to AWS cloud. Manage full AWS Lifecycle, Provisioning, Automation, and Security. Configure and fine-tune cloud infrastructure systems. Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS. Ensure effective security, backup strategies, and disaster recovery solutions. Automate the deployment, scaling, and management of applications in cloud environments. Monitor the performance of cloud services, optimize resource utilization, and manage cost. Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and AWS services. Collaborate with IT and development teams to support cloud operations and troubleshoot issues. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) is highly preferred. Solid experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, VPC, CloudFormation, etc. Experience with cloud automation and scripting tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization and orchestration technologies. Strong understanding of network technologies as they relate to AWS. Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
