We have an immediate need for a Principal Full Stack Developer to provide Agile DevOps support for mission-critical systems. As a Full Stack Developer on this program, you will have the opportunity to develop robust systems, software, and cloud environments while maintaining and enhancing critical systems. You will offer technical expertise in the design, development, implementation, and testing of customer tools and applications. Operating within a DevOps framework, you will participate in and/or lead major project deliverables through all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and unit testing. Primary Responsibilities: Participate in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancement using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Python, SpringBoot, Hibernate, and Angular. Develop and direct software system validation and testing methods using JUnit and Katalon. Create and integrate custom-developed software solutions to leverage automated deployment technologies. Develop, prototype, and deploy solutions within commercial cloud environments, leveraging infrastructure platform services. Collaborate closely with team members, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to ensure alignment and implementation of User Stories to customer use cases. Conduct proof of concept, performance, and end-to-end testing to analyze and coordinate infrastructure needs driven by developed software. Support the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices. Utilize industry-leading DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Unix bash scripting. Document and perform systems software development, including deploying build artifacts across different environments using GitFlow constructs. Communicate key project data effectively to team members, fostering team cohesion and effectiveness. Use the Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA and Confluence, to track activities. Apply and identify best practices and standard operating procedures. Create innovative solutions to meet the technical needs of customers. Basic Qualifications: Proficiency in common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and development practices. Extensive experience with Java, Angular, Spring, and C2S. In-depth experience in the software development lifecycle, with experience delivering within DevOps toolsets/practices. Experience using software testing performance tools, such as JUnit. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash. Significant experience working in an Agile development environment. Extensive experience with development in commercial cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). Experience with cloud data services (e.g., S3, RDS, EFS). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in using version control systems. Proficiency in using issue/problem tracking systems. Educational and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph. This role maintains enterprise network infrastructure to ensure proper configuration, availability, performance, capacity, and maintenance (including application of the latest patches and upgrades). This role monitors technology obsolescence, manages upgrades, and evaluates alternatives across on-premises and cloud IT infrastructures, both virtual and physical. This role monitors operations and collects and evaluates metrics to manage network services and for inclusion into project KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLA). This individual performs risk assessment, risk mitigation analysis, vendor trade studies, and appropriate documentation to ensure network services are available according to established Service Level Agreements (SLA). This role ensures continuity of operations including disaster recovery.
