Full Stack Developer (180K - 220K) Co-location: Primarily Co-Located; 3801 Nebraska Ave. Washington, DC (60% on-site) Clearance: Top Secret - SCI eligible Description Seeking Software Developers to join our team and help accelerate a federal mission client's discovery and delivery of identity and network-based intelligence insights to counter national security threats and malicious actors. Our software developers will assist in crafting, testing, and recommending scalable, flexible, and resilient designs and implement integrations with a standard platform in a cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategizing overall build tools and software to facilitate information and data sharing, and advance analytic practices. Duties: Employ software development techniques and methodologies for solving tough analytical challenges in support of one of national security threats Use software development skills to automate manual analytical processes Opportunity to expand upon beyond specializations to include front end user interfaces, back end microservices, web services, cloud architectures, as well as databases and other persistent data stores Deploy developed IT solutions, user applications, databases, and other IT capabilities Design and develop specialized user solutions, applications and databases using a hybrid Agile approach within a DevOps environment Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications and databases Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications Maintain code integrity and organization Collaborate with the rest of engineering team to design and launch new features. Data Scientist (Salary $150K - $190K) Competency Area(s) Alignment: Data Architecture & Engineering Number of positions: 4 Team: DAI Role Description An active TS/SCI Clearance is a pre-requisite for consideration. As a Data Scientist, you will be involved in full spectrum analytic technical support to mission operations and the intelligence lifecycle: requirements collection and refinement, translating user requirements into technical requirements, environment configuration, exploratory data analysis, model development, selection, and evaluation, identifying insights from analytic products and then communicating those results to a nontechnical audience. To that end, you will work with cross-functional teams to identify relevant and permissible data sources, access available infrastructure, and to develop analytic products tailored to mission user requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical in your ability to collaborate with your technical colleagues and building rapport with the customer. Your analytic products should clearly and succinctly distill trends, illuminate latent patterns, and spotlight insights in an easy-to-consume manner for customers to take action on. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. • 4 - 6+ years of experience in computer science, data science, data analytics. • Experience executing data science methods using python libraries for Data Cleaning/Wrangling, Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), Statistical Analysis, Data Visualization. • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python. • Agile development experience along with related technologies (e.g., Jira). Responsibilities: • Establish advanced analysis and data visualization methodologies, models, and tools to derive intelligence outcomes and impacts. • Design and deliver infographics across a range of media platforms. • Identify and process raw data, trends, analysis, and assessments in order to aggregate disparate information, leveraging both analytic and visualization tools. • Leverage knowledge of databases and methodologies to determine appropriate sources, determine indicators and relationships, and generate intelligence support packages. • Provide tailored communications to innovation stakeholders in meetings, demos, and other customer engagements, as well as support analytic innovation, development, and data analytics activities to customers and stakeholders. • Brief customers on assessments and prepare briefings based on finished analysis, including preparing daily briefings for senior policy and operational decision makers. • Develop machine learning models with attention to model accuracy. • Draft technical methodologies and participate in architectural reviews. • Document processes and solutions that serve as communication findings for both technical and non-technical stakeholder. As a Data Scientist/Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying secure, maintainable, and reliable software in the form of executable functions (e.g., AWS Lambda or Azure Functions) across a cloud infrastructure that houses sensitive data and models that support mission critical operations.
