Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Physician Opportunity in Florida Job at a Glance: Location: Florida Role: Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Physician Schedule: Full-time Description: BayCare Health System's Saint Joseph Children's Hospital (SJCH) in Tampa, Florida is seeking a full-time Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Physician to work in our Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) with transition into our new free-standing Children's Hospital by 2030. The Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Physician will be full-time in Tampa, report to the local unit Director and be hired by the collaborating Children's Hospital Pittsburgh, UPMC (CHP) and meet the standard qualifications for hire by CHP/University of Pittsburgh Physicians. The CHP Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Division's clinical and administration resources are available as part of the collaboration between CHP and SJCH. The SJCH CICU has 12 beds with 24-hour APP coverage. We have an active cardiac surgical program caring for all lesions as well as busy interventional cardiology and invasive EP programs. The Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care physician serves as a member of the Cardiac Critical Care team, ensuring the successful integration of Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care services into the Children's Heart Center's overall business plan. This includes contributing to the development and implementation of the Heart Center's strategic plan, ensuring all policies, programs and initiatives are followed and are consistent and supportive of the BayCare mission, vision, and values.
