Director Admissions and Marketing - 12-month position Reports to: Superintendent Position Overview: To serve Palm Beach Christian Academy by providing leadership for the development and implementation of a results-driven admissions and marketing plan. The Director of Admissions and Marketing works closely with the Superintendent, Administrative ECE Director, and school leadership team on the development and implementation of the school's admissions and marketing plan. The position will focus on the recruitment and enrollment of new families and the marketing of the school through lead generation, storytelling, brand awareness, and internal communications. The Director of Admissions and Marketing will embody the mission, vision, and values of Family Church and Palm Beach Christian Academy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, master's degree preferred. Two to four years' experience in school marketing and admissions. Experience in or willingness to learn the Classical Christian model. Evidence of strong Christian faith and values. Demonstrates a strong Christian character and integrity. Exhibit initiative to make things happen and get things accomplished, providing leadership to the implementation of an aggressive marketing and communications strategy. Be professional, poised, and polished in their ability to market the school. Implement and manage measurable web-based marketing strategies. Admissions Responsibilities Implement effective inquiry generation strategies including online, word-of-mouth, feeder schools, feeder churches and more. Implement systematic and sequential follow-up progress that includes automated and personal contacts by phone, email, and text messaging. Implement an effective campus visit program through personal visits and open house events to showcase the school to prospective families. Provide management to the online application process including follow-up contacts, file oversight, assessment, interviews, decision, and notification. Works towards the achievement of agreed up admissions and activity goals. Monitor and improve the plan for the onboarding of new students to school. Implement strategies along with the administrative team to ensure the successful onboarding of new families from the time of enrollment until the first day of school. Manage the school's database to effectively track admissions records for inquiries, visits, applications, and enrollment. Provide reports and analysis of the enrollment data. Stay current on trainings on the database to present any upcoming new features or changes with enrollment processes. Maintain a strong understanding of both ECE and K-8 program components, including but not limited to, curriculum, the classical model, teacher/parent communication, classroom management, and typical daily schedule. Marketing Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan for the school. Develop and implement an internal marketing strategy to reinforce the school's core brand messages and customer satisfaction to the parent community. Develop and implement an effective word-of-mouth marketing strategy that will create internal and external "buzz" for the school. Provide oversight and leadership to the school's website by regularly updating the content, news and videos. In addition, utilize web-based marketing strategies to increase the online presence for the school including the effective use of social media sites, search engine optimization, paid search strategies, and more. Develop and implement an external marketing effort that will generate increased awareness for the school within its target constituencies, including parents, faculty/staff, grandparents, alumni, donors and friends, as well as within the community. Student Support Specialist Position Overview: This position is responsible for facilitating the implementation of a K-8 classroom support program by providing special instructions to teachers, parents, individuals and small groups of students with identified needs (both behavioral and academic). The Specialist utilizes best practices from the classical mode of instruction to provide essential academic support to our students and their families so that students with learning challenges can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. This position will provide support services for all Palm Beach & Treasure Coast Christian Academy K-8 programs. Direct Leader: Head of Schools Matrix Leader: School Superintendent Classification: Salaried Exempt Responsibilities Assist in Admissions process: Provide testing, assessment, and observation information to the Principal for assistance in determining feasibility of admission to the school. Assist the Principal in determining the best fit for academic placement for accepted students. Identify and assess students who will require academic, emotional or behavioral support services. Build a support network consisting of families, school administration, teachers and local professionals. Provide support services to teachers: Interpret psycho-educational evaluations and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), 504 Plans and Behavioral Intervention. All accommodation and support plans must be designed to help teachers be successful in the PBCA classical model and reinforce PBCA guidelines and principles. Collaborate with teachers and instructional aides to create support plans for effective instruction and classroom management. Plans should address students who are experiencing difficulties in academic or behavioral progression as well as students who are excelling beyond the normal patterns of mastery. Provide coaching tips and techniques to teachers and instructional aides related to implementation of created support plans. Participate in parent-teacher conferences as needed / requested for students in need of support services. Provide regular reports for assessment and planning related to the enrichment programs and their impact on the students' learning progress. Provide instructional and behavioral support to students and families: Provide support for at-risk students with academic, social, and behavioral needs, which includes working with students individually, in small groups, within the classroom, and other student academic learning or behavioral services outside of the classroom. Collaborate with teachers and instructional aides to create support plans, make recommendations for intervention and professional services, and coordinate the implementation of those interventions and services. Conduct individual and group counseling sessions, assessments, workshops, and activities for students and their families.
