PRN Cardiac Surgeon The Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) at LifeBridge Health is looking to hire a PRN Cardiac Surgeon. This will be located Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. CVI maintains a well-established, high-quality program performing 3,000 procedures and operations per year. Compensation Opportunity for up to $4,000.00 per 24 hour shift Job Summary PRN position based at Sinai Hospital Full spectrum of adult cardiac surgical procedures, including TAVR Two cardiac operating rooms with dedicated staff Dedicated Cardiac ICU staff CVI physician staff and affiliates include 2 Cardiac Surgeons, 30+ Cardiologists (including 7 interventional and structural cardiologists, 4 electrophysiologists, 12 vascular surgeons) performing over 3,000 cardiac procedures per year ( 2,000 caths, 600+ PCIs, and 50 TAVRs, and other structural interventions). 24/7/365 support from 20-25 Advanced Practice Providers across the system Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited Medical School Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery Expertise in TAVR required; other catheter-based skills desirable At least five years of post-fellowship experience preferred Verifiable excellent outcomes LifeBridge Health is a $2B+, 13,000 team member healthcare system that cares for over one million patients annually throughout Maryland.
