Both positions inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain company fleet assets while helping minimize downtime and keep operations running safely and efficiently. Traveling Equipment Service Technician: Focuses on heavy construction equipment, support vehicles, and field/shop repairs for equipment used on construction projects. Traveling Truck Service Technician: Focuses on commercial trucks, trailers, service trucks, pickups, and mobile field support at project sites and other locations. Both positions require strong troubleshooting skills, solid mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while supporting a team-oriented environment and representing the company professionally in the field. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, air brake, fuel, cooling, drivetrain, and related fleet systems Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment, commercial trucks, trailers, and support vehicles Inspect, service, and repair equipment and fleet assets Troubleshoot heavy equipment, truck, and trailer issues in both shop and field environments Repair and replace tires and related components on heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately Operate shop equipment and diagnostic tools safely and effectively Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist with winter maintenance operations and seasonal fleet preparation Provide leadership and guidance to other shop personnel when necessary No two days are the same.
