JOB SUMMARY: The Ag Service Technician will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer agricultural, turf, and construction equipment. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The service technician is responsible for performing service repair and other miscellaneous duties to ensure customer and dealer equipment is in good working order. Specifically: • Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment. • Participates in Service Training programs required. • Maintains current knowledge of McFarlane vendor equipment and products. • Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment. • May provide diagnostic service and repair of AG equipment offsite and on customer property. • Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments. • Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments. • Accounts for all time on a time card and for all material used in performing assigned duties. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Regular attendance is an essential function of this position. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 1. Relevant agricultural services technical degree preferred. 2. Solid experience performing repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment. 3. Proficient working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Current Driver s License with clean driving record. 2. Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English. 3. Ability to continuously improve skill set and attend required training(s). 4. Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards. 5. Ability to recognize quality expected and be able to reproduce it. 6. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 7. Ability to act as a team player. 8. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations. PHYSICAL AND SAFETY DEMANDS: Ability to continuously bend, crouch, lift, twist, kneel, reach, grasp, stand and walk; close vision and distance vision used. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on occasion. JOB SUMMARY: Entry level PM/ Estimator needed to solicit and negotiate price, schedule and Job Contract expectations with customers and subcontractors while managing projects. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Review all front-end documents, perform takeoff and gather pricing for all materials, prepare costing estimates and manage projects within a team setting; responsible for managing contract and negotiated projects from date of award to project completion. Specifically: • Solicit and negotiate price, schedule and Job Contract expectations with customers and subcontractors • Execute takeoffs, prepare estimates/proposals, bid, schedule and manage projects in team setting. • Review contract documents and specifications. • Establish and communicate project sequencing and scheduling with Contractor/ Owner, Sub-contractors and Internal Personnel. • Clearly communicate expectations and goals involved with a project; maintain continuous communication throughout a project with all appropriate parties. • Review and assess cost and scheduling impacts from Addendums, Construction Bulletins and Architect Supplemental Instruction or other forms of revised contract documents. • Review and negotiate costs associated with Notification of Change (NOC) and/or Request for Information (RFI). • Track and record contract documents, RFIs, NOCs and drawing submittals throughout a project. • Additional responsibilities as assigned • Regular attendance is an essential function of this position EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE and SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelor s degree in engineering or construction management; minimum 2-year technical degree in related field. 2. Previous construction project management experience with a structural steel fabricator estimating and managing structural steel construction projects for regional (WI/ N IL) general contractors, preferred. 3. MS Office proficiency; experience with FabSuite and BlueBeam, software, preferred. 4. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. 5. Ability to understand design and construction drawings to verify scope of work quoting 6. Ability to proactively solicit bid invitations; to do accurate take-offs and change orders. 7. Ability to read and understand various types of project drawings, specifications, contract documents/waivers, etc. 8. Ability to work independently and proactively, be self-motivated and deadline oriented. 9. Ability to organize and manage multiple projects from start to completion with thorough attention to detail. 10. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships to interact effectively with clients and team members. 11. Possess strong problem-solving skills, with ability to resolve conflicts in a positive and constructive manner. 12.
