Job Description: Field Manager I will generally work under the supervision of a Field Manager II as a Junior Field Manager until he/she is capable of handling a job on their own. Qualities and strengths at this stage should be leadership, problem solving, tenacity, and a strong drive to learn the RF and technical side of the DAS business. Responsibilities: Understanding the logistics of Materials needed, both ordering and inventory control Driving and tracking Project Schedules and understanding budget targets Assist with change orders should they be needed Introduction to DAS systems commissioning & optimization practices. Assisting with site surveys / data collection and produce bid documents on small to medium projects Assisting with Closeout document data collection and package completion Customer Service while on the job site Adherence to all site & CTS safety standards Weekly Reports/Updates and time card approvals Ability to lead install team stringing coax and fiber cable to include cable termination Proficient with PIM & Sweep Testing of both Coax & Fiber Competent with Fusion splicing and fiber optic testing practices Proficiency at operation and understanding of all functions of test equipment, to include RF, cable, and fiber test gear. Trouble shooting all systems to identify issues and recommend solutions Learning all major carrier's frequency band, protocols and terminology. Learning to read the iBwave Design documentation (Blueprints) and understanding the different installation components. Familiarity with all CTS Products and Services Possess a working level of building code knowledge to be able to do a fully compliant installation. Computer skills should include understanding of MS Word, Excel, Projects & Google Mail Regional travel maybe required. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Clean driving record. CONSTRUCTION MANAGER II - DAS / INBUILDING The Construction Manager II is responsible for the day-to-day management of installation work at customer locations / job sites to ensure that the field crews and or technicians complete the assigned tasks, safely and to CTS standards of quality and professionalism. This would include managing any and all subcontractors / vendors who must also meet or exceed CTS standards for safety and quality. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and multi-tasker, as well as a professional demeanor, who strives to be the industry leader in his or her daily actions. This position will be responsible for work in South Florida & may require travel throughout the state of FL. Technical Skills/ Knowledge: Experience installing and managing Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and Public Safety installations builds. Ability to read blue prints and Visio & iBwave drawings. Ability to determine BoM and Ordering of project materials. Must have experience creating Project Schedules and Tracking / Communicating Daily Progress with Customers and Senior Management. Experience conducting Site Surveys and the ability to Scope & Quote. Thorough understanding of Fiber Optics construction, Splicing and OTDR, Spectrum Analyzer (Anritsu), Signal Generator and similar test equipment. Hands-on experience with PIM / RL Sweep testing, including knowledge to read Sweeps and manage test results. Must have experience in managing multiple projects and crews simultaneously. We are open to ENTRY LEVEL candidates and will provide on-the-job training or Technician II with some DAS experience . This person should be based in the Denver Area. National Travel is required. JOB DESCRIPTION The Low Voltage/ DAS Technician is a full-time position that will be supporting the installation of various Telecommunication systems being deployed in the field. Candidates require learning/training to become knowledgeable in the standards and processes to complete the construction and testing of these systems to meet customer and CTS' standards. Responsibilities: Follow the direction of Field Manager/Lead Tech. Part of Install team stringing coax and fiber cable. Install Antennas and Equipment as directed. Transporting materials. Attending Apprentice Classes (where applicable). Competent at pulling both Coax and Fiber. Proficient at Coax Cable Termination. Familiarity with Fusion splicing and fiber optic testing practices is preferred. Basic computer skills. Basic understanding of cable sweep test equipment and processes. Understand frequency band, Protocols and terminology. Competent at collecting information for closeout package. Able to manage daily installation quality and schedule. Able to accept direction, but also able to make good decisions when left to work un-supervised. Proficient with PIM & Sweep Testing of both Coax & Fiber is preferred. Competent at operation and understanding of all functions of Anritsu Site Master, test equipment is preferred. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Clean driving record.
