Job Description Job Description Laydown Foreman (Temp-to-Perm) Location: Gibsonton, FL Pay Rate: $20 - 28 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Full-Time Position Type: Temp-to-Perm Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Ironworker/ Laydown Technician to join our team in a hands-on leadership role. This position is ideal for someone with a strong industrial or structural steel background who can lead by example in the field. The role involves overseeing daily laydown operations while actively performing ironwork tasks in an outdoor industrial environment. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Industrial, structural steel, or fabrication background required Recent graduates with relevant technical or trade education will be considered Prior foreman or lead experience is required Required Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of industrial or structural steel fabrication and installation Ability to read and understand basic drawings and job instructions Experience with bolting, grinding, drilling, and rigging operations Proficient using mag drills and hand/power tools Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Class A Driver's License required Strong safety awareness and leadership mindset Responsibilities Lead and support laydown and ironwork operations on site Perform hands-on tasks including bolting, grinding, drilling (mag drills), and rigging Assist with material organization, staging, and site coordination Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors Maintain a clean and organized work area Why Join Us Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to move from temporary to permanent employment Stable, long-term work with room for growth Hands-on leadership role in a solid industrial environment Company Description Mobile Staff Solutions is a full-service staffing company dedicated to efficiently and effectively managing our clients hiring process by: Delivering better candidates by customizing the screening and assessment process for each and every customer.
