Works with management team to evaluate the performance of individual associates upon new hire and at periods of 30, 60 & 90 days (if necessary) and annually, per company guidelines. Responsible for ensuring and maintaining a safe work environment through compliance of all company, Local, State and Federal mandates, and internal safety programs. Drives a Continuous Improvement (CI) environment by improving products, service, and processes with the objective to reduce waste, while striving for efficiency. Demonstrates support of General Bakery Safety, Food Safety Initiatives and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure adherence to all quality requirements including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and performs regular line inspections to evaluate, implement and enforce. Ensures production associates execute and maintain records for all phases of production, as required. Completes staff scheduling to ensure production lines are adequately staffed and coordinates with other departments to minimize downtime. Provides cross training to associates for maximum coverage of production line. Supervise and control completion of established standards regarding consumption, quality, and yield by using KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
